Ha, hajikami is an old Japanese word for ginger. I chose it because of one of my favorite Japanese puns: ショウガなくてもしょうがない. I’m applying as an international student so we don’t have AP classes or IB classes…
Class rank: 2-5/1200 hehe(there r like 1200 students in our grade, 24 classes in total. kinda different from the edu system in america)
Oh and i sent 5 piano solos as my supplementary materials( who knows whether it’ll help or not)…
i’m kinda hoping my essays and reccs will make up for my low SAT scores(both 1 and 2)
well right now we just have to wait and have faith right? hehe

<p>^It is often said that the ACT is easier–something that’s hard to disprove when the same people have taken the SAT. I suppose it’s out of pride that I didn’t take the ACT, but colleges look at it the same, so it doesn’t matter.</p>

<p>4.0 unweighted, 1/330 class
EC are pretty varied, from TaeKwonDo to music, art, a little drama, and bible study. Most proud of a charity club for the UNF that a friend (who is applying RD) started.</p>

<p>I guess that makes sense, especially in my case, although a friend of mine scored 2240 on SAT and 33 on ACT, which is pretty comparable.</p>
