Mhmm I’m checking Dartmouth–>Brown–>UPenn–>Princeton–>Harvard–>Yale–>Columbia, from least-desired to most as well.

prob checking columbia first since i’ve got a likely from them

I think I’ll go in whatever order they come, but I’d like to do Yale last. I only have two though. Technically three, but I have a likely from one.

I think I’ll check Yale first to get it over with. :P

Yale was the only Ivy I did…and at this point, I’m really not too worried

I got into my first choice, Smith, with a big research scholarship on Saturday…

I’m just curious about Yale at this point, but expecting a rejection…

@rocket6louise - That’s awesome. Congrats!

defs checking yale first since i got a likely from them. and @ kellogs good to hear you got the likely from columbia! congrats man

haha thanks thatguy

yale’s still my dream though…

My order:

Dartmouth (likely) –> Cornell –> Brown –> Yale –> Harvard –> Princeton –> UPenn

I applied for M&T at Penn, so it is my top choice! I applied to Yale and some other ivies due to fee waivers from this program, so that’s why I have 7/8 Ivies represented lol!

My order:

Yale–> Princeton–> UPenn–> Brown–> and Columbia. Columbia is my first choice school but I got waitlisted at Barnard so this gives me little hope for acceptance from Columbia. I might just log in all at once and then check in quick succession, tab to tab.

my order: columbia-princeton-yale. However it took me 5 hours last week just to access my decision for one of my backup schools…so I’m thinking that with all the traffic we’ll just end up checking whichever decisions come through first.

Ahh I can’t believe there’s less than a week left. I got waitlisted from georgetown today and now I’m super nervous because the ivies are even more selective than schools like gtown. ughh :/

I got waitlisted at UVA so I know how you feel chibistar :(

@chibistar6

I know how you feel. I got waitlisted at carnegie mellon yesterday. I was totally expecting to get in and now I’m realllly nervous for thursday and Johns Hopkins on wednesday. But it is true that gtown and CMU are not ivies and handle admissions in a much different way. good luck.

I’ll be checking Columbia and then Yale. Those are the only two left on my list. My heart will break when Yale rejects me. =[

I got waitlisted at Swarthmore :(

Yup, all I have left is Brown and Yale.
I’ll be checking Yale first because I am probably going to be rejected, and if I do get into Brown, it’ll make me feel so much better.

I have no idea what I would do if I got waitlisted by Yale. I think it would be even worse than getting rejected.

^ Teeelllll me about it.

I’m going to check my decisions in the following order, from least to most important: Harvard, Columbia, Princeton, Brown, Yale.

Someone else pointed out that a few of the websites will probably crash, so I’ll most likely just end up checking what’s available. I really want to leave Yale for the end, though, because I probably wouldn’t want to even check my other decisions if I got rejected there.

yeah i was equally surprised

check my “I had a 2390 and i was waitlisted” thread in the UVA forum

much debate as to why. most people say yield protection…idk if i believe that

I’m going to check Yale, then Princeton, then Brown, then UPenn.

Don’t they e-mail you if you got in, though? I didn’t even have a chance to check the Amherst website because they had e-mailed me before I checked.
