<p>Anyway, I started getting extremely nervous starting this past Monday. Ahhh I wish it was Wednesday! I’m hanging out with my friends immediately after school on Wed. so that I dont get insane… and it would be cool having them there when I find out. Celebrate???</p>
<p>and if I dont get in… oh well. They will be more disappointed for me than I will be for myself.</p>
<p>^that’s exactly why I DON’T want to find out when I’m around other people–“they will be more disappointed for me than I will be for myself.” I feel like other people are gonna get me down… if no one knew I’d applied early, then I could get over a rejection quicker…</p>

<p>Just sent in my SAT scores because I did well on my December subject tests. Hopefully my ACT makes up for my so-so SAT. I’ll probably update Yale later about some additional awards.</p>

<p>Yes. That is exactly what I did. I did not even take any SAT subject tests.</p>
<p>oh phew. i created an alternate version of my commonapp for yale and deleted all SAT and subject tests. and then i only submitted ACt. i thought i was like the only one.</p>
<p>Haha no you are not the only one. I took the SAT I once and did awful, I don’t think I even broke 2000 but my ACT was quite significantly better so I only submitted that.</p>
<p>same here. ACT was way better. Also, did you get an interview calls/information yet?</p>
<p>I actually was contacted for an interview a couple months ago but it was for an on campus interview. I traveled to New Haven, in the first week of November for it.</p>

<p>I do not know anything about any of the other Ivies. The only school that I am applying to RD is Yale. I have not heard anything from alumni about an interview but I know that no one from my high school or any neighboring high schools have ever gone to Yale or HYPS for that matter so I am not expecting anything. I would be pleasantly surprised though if someone contacted me.</p>
<p>I did my interview yesterday, so I think it depends on your location and the alumni that received your information.</p>
