I intend to apply for Yale SCEA too…

Good luck to everyone!!:)

I intend to apply for Yale SCEA too…

Good luck to everyone!!:)

I know my chances are very very slim

but I will be so SAD if I do get rejected or deferred

I will be so SAD. really really SAD.

(like SAD in a really really SAD way)

anyone feel the same way?

Good luck to everyone anyway :)

I dont know how I would feel if i will be reject or deffered… I can predict my feelings. But surely I will give my best shot.

If i got accept or reject or deffered is something that only the Admission Office can decide.

@unlocked give your best shot. You trying for SCEA and this is more important right now.Be positive and good luck :)

Omg on Wednesday the games begin

I am yet another SCEA hopeful.
sighs So many fellow CC’ers are applying too.

For Yale SCEA which is the last available date to give SAT?? I will give SAT II in Octomber and I was thinking if i can give SAT I in November. Can I do that?

[Application to Yale College | Freshmen | Office of Undergraduate Admissions](<a href=“Home | Yale College Undergraduate Admissions”>Home | Yale College Undergraduate Admissions)

The last SAT date for SCEA is November.

Thank you very much:)

I’m applying SCEA too, but it’s through questbridge if I become a finalist. It’s kind of the same I guess. Close enough. lol But good luck to everyone!!

if yale comes to your school to give an admissions session for only students at a particular high school, does this mean that yale is very interested in this high school?

I think they visit the schools which have a large number of applicants/ are pretty renowned. That’s what they do in my city at least. But i’m an international student so i don’t know if it will be the same everywhere. We’re having our visit on the 24th. Super excited. :)

Well, since the supplement is out, I would like to officially wish everyone good luck. Also, it would be great if people could post here when they officially submit their application.

The people on this thread make me feel incredibly dumb…

Anyways, best of luck to all. I don’t have the balls to go SCEA, so RD (and probably a rejection) for me. See you at the finish line.

I think we all need to think a little more positively. I understand this is a change from my previous post, but this thread seems to be one of expectant disappointment. The CC stat for SCEA is a little under 20% accepted, no? You have a chance. Do your best and you’ll end up somewhere great.

The additional testing section of the supplement is quite intimidating.

^ Agreed. Mine is completely blank.

._.

I’ve only got a few subject/AP tests lol. It’s probably better that the ACT/SAT sections are blank though.

I have a question about that actually:

If we put our additional scores in the Additional Info section of the Common App (which we were instructed to do by the Common App Instructions), should we still put those scores in the Additional scores section of the supplement?

Same question as sd6. Also, they want you to list EVERY score including retakes right, like every score that will appear on the official report?

^ Yeah. Unless you took either the SAT or ACT more than three times, you won’t have to list any of those scores on the supplement.
