@Jejemine, if when our oldest got her acceptance to Brown is any indication, Dec14th at 5pm is a solid certainty. It is usually on a mid month Thursday at 5pm that they can log in and see what their acceptance determination.
@Jejemine That is the date which is listed on the Yale status portal. I’m not sure about the time but what @omgBrown said seems right because I think last year decisions went live at 5 pm.
Did you rank? And were you a finalist?
I finished my application yesterday, but I’ll probably look over it again and submit Wednesday afternoon.

Are y’all’s subject scores showing up in the portal? I know it says non-required tests won’t show up, but I just wanted to make sure!

@010323026877 @Benji3025 mine are not showing up either but I’m pretty sure they’ve received them. It does say on the portal that supplementary materials such as non-required test scores will not be displayed :
“For example, additional letters of recommendation and SAT Subject Test scores are not required and therefore will not display below, and admissions staff cannot confirm their receipt”

@Benji3025, your SES status will give context to your application in terms of rigor of courses, test prep assumptions, EC assumptions. Since your file will be first read by an AO based on geographic region, the initial comparison of files will be defined geographically, which may be to your advantage if your app stands out. AO’s are human, so I would not be surprised that many are always on the lookout for the proverbial diamond in the rough.

Haven’t seen a thread for Yale EA applicants this year so I wanted to start one! I submitted my EA app today and wanted to know what everyone else is thinking! Personally, I don’t think I have a super great chance but hey you never know!
@mdew192837 It usually takes 1 - 2 days to get it I think…I submitted mine 2 AM on Oct 26 and got my portal at noon on Oct 27.
No, I have not gotten an email from Yale yet. My friend got hers the day after she submitted so I’m hoping I will receive mine tomorrow.
