Yale 2022 Applicants Discussion

@LondonVall lol sure but don’t use U…lots of pets end up at wrong places…

Yeah does ANYONE ever get in after the 403 thing?

OMG I had made an entire battle plan for dealing with decisions coming out in 3.5 hours but then my dad JUST texted me that he scheduled a doctor’s appointment for half an hour before decisions. WHYYY

The only people I know who have access to the site are people who recieved likelys and have had access since April, and SCEA/Questbridge admits… so maybe Yale DID update their system and we really wont know until 7

How many applicants do u know?
Like u think that some of ur friends had a very high chance of getting in?

it’s so hard to get a good sample size to see if this thing is legit because yale accepts like 2 ppl

@Benji3025 ty for the confidence, I hope to see you at Bulldog Days lol, idk if I’ll get in or not

If ANYONE gets into the admit page please tell us on this thread right here :))

good luck everyone!!! we’re hyped to meet you all!

@Volunteerism I was deferred and it was under my “Early Action Admissions Statistics.”

Good luck to everyone!

2 hours left!

I’m curious how many of you just now checked your portals “just Incase they released at 5:00pm est”.

EA stats from their website:

842 EA out of 5,733 applicants or 14.69%

https://news.yale.edu/2017/12/14/842-early-action-applicants-admitted-class-2022

If @piexterminator numbers are correct that means:

(edited thanks to @Holistic2)

1387 RD out of 29,574+3153-1214 (applicants + deferred) or 4.4%.

Last year Yale was 5% according to the WSJ. https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-decision-that-hurts-your-chances-of-getting-into-harvard-1522229400
