Yale - Admission Documents

Got confirmation from Yale (dated March 22, 2005) that they received all my documents for admission :)

D*mn.

I didn't get any such thing.

Should I call?

i got one too. anisky, u should call theyll give you an email address to send the request to, since they dont do it over the phone.

I'll quote Yale letter:
"It is not necessary to call or write to us to check on the completeness of our file. We will contact you or your school if we need any further information."

Helen

i only suggest calling because he hasnt received the letter at all, which might mean the app is lost, so they wouldnt even know to contact him about completeness

hmmm...so i sent in my application a fairly long time ago (in time for the march 1 deadline) and i STILL haven't received a postcard or a letter or anything from yale acknowledging my existence (you know, a "thank you for applying" sort of thing). i'm worried. what should i do?

i didn't get anything yet either

i'm starting to worry too, and i really can't deal with any more problems with my applications--uva is missing my high school transcripts and georgetown is missing my dean's report!

I left a message, because there was nobody there, even though it was about 2:30 on a Monday afternoon.

Was that a bad idea?

PS I'm a she.

Anisky LOL :D Well, can't really hurt, right?

Well, if they say there's no reason to call, they might be annoyed at me for leaving a message and wasting their time. I left my full name... Gah. I bet they won't call me back, and I won't get any confirmation, and I'll have no way of knowing if they got anything. If I left them a voicemail today, but I sent the application in by the March 1st deadline, so over a month ago, and have received NOTHING, how long should I wait before trying to contact them again?

Oh, yeah I got mine about 2 weeks ago, I didn't know I was supposed to keep everyone updated. I also got Stanford and Brown's back too.

oops sorry anisky!
