<p>From their website, updated today:</p>

<p>"Due to a staff retreat, the Admissions Office will be closed on Tuesday May 9 after the 9 a.m. Information Session. Phones will not be answered on Tuesday. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes, but will welcome your calls and visits on Wednesday!"</p>

<p>Final transfer decisions, perhaps? Or freshman waitlist decisions?
Both?</p>

<p>Any news since martinibluex stopped counting down 'cause he got into Cornell? :-P</p>

<p>Lol. Still counting... what is it... 4 days? I don't know what's going on, but this retreat coincides with the projected decision arrival date. Very interesting.</p>

<p>I think the 8th is when we will get them. Maybe the adcoms want to take a day off and not be overwhelmed with phone calls after they have worked so hard to finish things up.</p>

<p>i'm counting the days... Yale's been my dream school since sophomore year of high school, when i first visited. EA, deferred, rejected last year.</p>

<p>martinibluex, do you know if it's MAILED on Monday the 8th, for sure? When I called, they said that it would be mailed sometime during the second week in may,</p>

<p>According to a source, the identity of whom I cannot reveal, decisions will be mailed on the 12th.</p>

<p>Edit: I do not know if this is reliable, but this is the information I received.</p>

<p>With such a low admit rate, and with the preponderance applicants being more competitive than I, I have no chance.</p>
