I talked about my interest in cosmology in my yale supp and in my MIT supps I talked about my joint-interest in poly sci/economics and physics. I thought my Yale Supp was very good, but my general common app essay was...ehhh, boring and blase'.
I applied to Yale Early and will find out the results in two weeks. Under the assumption I'm deferred, what are my chances for the regular round for Yale and HYPSM in general. I'm especially interested in MIT, Yale and Upenn (unfort something like 3-4 kids applyied to UPenn ED already from my school). Two girls from my school (with similar stats, but different interests) are also applying to Yale early. Do you think I'll get a bite out of any of these schools?
