<p>Hello there my name is Cory and I attend a very small rural school in north texas. I have many safeties and match schools picked out but I'm curiously what ya'll see as maybe a shot at Yale and Princeton, if its even worth applying? Thanks ahead of time:</p>

<p>All Honors Classes Possible, Dual Credit Classes, One AP Class (All thats offered) ~ Dual Credit US History finished year with a 86 overall.</p>

<p>State Qualifier UIL Lincoln Douglass Debate (went 1-2 at state) about 9th out of 12 in all of Texas.

I have been told they were very very good, it was over the influence of politics and public speaking (in church and speeches etcm) on my life and my choices including debate.</p>

My math teacher has written me a superb!recommendation, it even surprised me. My english teachers is slightly above average. And my counselors I do not know</p>

<p>^thats not a very good “narrowing down” of careers you did there.</p>

<p>I’d say it’s worth applying. Being from rural Texas and first generation improve your chances. Yale and Princeton have quite different atmospheres. Princeton is more conservative and rural. </p>
