Yale Application - submitted too late?

I completed and submitted Yale's supplement and payment the day of the deadline. The website showed that I had also submitted my application. However, I logged back onto Common Application (through which I applied) the next day and it said that I had not submitted it. I submitted it immediately and it said that I had successfully submitted my application. It's been a few weeks, and I haven't received word from Yale. Should I try to contact them and let them know what happened? Or was it successful and they just haven't gotten to me yet? I've heard of CommonApp colleges shutting down the application portal - does this mean that you can't submit at all, or that it submits successfully but they don't look at it?
I know that if I hadn't waited so long, I might not have this problem. However, I can't undo the past, alas.

Did Yale download them?

Yes, two days after the deadline. I suppose that means they’ve been received/accepted for review, then? I wasn’t really sure about how that worked, especially with having been downloaded later. Thank you for the question that helped me arrive at the answer (I think) - bad weather and too much school work’s fried my brain. xP
I doubt I’ll get in, but it feels good knowing that I tried.

i would contact them and tell them what happened for your peace of mind.
