I'm applying to Yale. I am sending in supplementary art materials.
Are photographs allowed?

I'm going to have to PM the links, I can't post links here, I think.

Anyway, do you think this is good enough? I would submit a few of the best pieces....it's a little illustrationesque, but I think it's good quality...

Photographs are fine… especially for big art. Just make sure it’s a decent photo - watch the lighting, distortion, camera shake etc. You can probably post the links here if you want. I sent art too It’s mostly formal/traditional figure drawings etc.

photography is fine. i’d be happy to take a look! i already applied EA to yale with my art supplement (which was ptg&drawing), so PM me if you like. i’d be glad to take a look.

Do a search to find several threads discussing just how good art and music supplements need to be. It’s harder to define whether art is good enough. For music “at or near conservatory caliber” seems to be the rule, so think of the equivalent for art. You need to get an opinion by someone trained in art, not random people on CC to evaluate the quality of your work.
