<p>How many of you guys are waitlisted for this program? Seems like a lot. Does anyone know how does the program contact the waitlisted people, and stuff regarding breaking the "pact" with another school to register for Yale? Thanks</p>

<p>wampa, they emailed me last night. I'm curious how it'll work out. They said they will extend the decision deadline one month so that you can make an informed decision, but does that mean you have to contact your other schools and hope they will also grant you that extra time? hmm</p>
<p>What have you guys told the other school(s) you are considering? Have you told the other school what is going on or accepted the other school's offer. I am holding one other school's offer. I know that the other place (which I love) really wants me to make a decision, since they have a lot of people on their 'waitlist'. I am wondering if I should update them about what is going on with Yale.</p>
<p>I am skeptical that we will here anything from Yale before April 15 (like the waitlist letter said). Yale first told me that we would here by the end of last week. After they missed that date, they said Tuesday of this week. They are now saying the end of this week. My guess is that they are waiting to here from everyone currently accepted, before they let any of us know. Hence, we could easily not hear before April 15. If this is the case, do we accept another school's offer now and try to get out of it if we decide we like Yale better?</p>
<p>I think it's best to accept another offer before the deadline, but we still have until the tuesday of next week to make a decision, so no rush.</p>
<p>I just declined their offer, so hopefully that means another slot has opened up.</p>
<p>I called to withdraw from the waitlist, and I also learned my fate (rejected)! It sounded like they decided everything, but I have no idea when they will actually send things out.</p>
