Yale bulldog days for admitted students

Hey, when is the official visiting time for admitted students in April? They told EA admittees that it was April 18-19, but i heard it was a little bit later. Thanks

It would be good to know for sure so that if we get in we can book flights asap. Without having to wait for the mail to come.

i definitely agree with that

please, does anyone know when it is?

Technically it's April 18-19, but there is a diversity dinner on the 17th.

Man, I still need to finish my registration. I keep forgetting to do that. I have everything else done except for registering (hotel, plane).

It sounds like it's going to be an awesome time. If you guys haven't already, do a search for +bulldog +days in the Ivy League section of the CC archives. Seems like most people fell in love with the campus when they visited last year.

What do they serve at a "diversity dinner?"

people ?

newt, I don't think you need to book a hotel....

My parents are coming, so it's for them.

I concur with falling in love with the campus. IMO it is the most beautiful place on the face of the earth. Maybe that was a slight exaggeration but it is definitely breathtaking.

I momentarily panicked because I realized that on the off chance that I am actually admitted to Yale, I would not be able to go to both the Yale Bulldog Days (17-19) and Amherst (17-18)... until I realized that if I got into Yale, I would have no reason to consider Amherst. Actually, my mom's not letting me register for the Amherst Open House until I get the rest of the college decisions... I don't think she likes Amherst very much.

You can visit Amherst b4 the open house... they're very open

i wanna gooo!!! is it REALLY necessary for u to have been accepted? :p

haha !

no its not necessary just walk in and act like your an accepted student

My mom made hotel reservations already for Bulldog Days, but has neglected to book the flight. Speaking of which, when are you guys leaving? I'm planning on taking an extra day off from school and flying back Wednesday afternoon...

i'm leaving sunday morning (from the west coast) so i'll probably arrive on campus early evening.. maybe in time for the diversity dinner. then, i'm flying back tuesday afternoon, because i cannot afford to miss any more days of school than that!!!

yea, and then swarthmore's preview days are right after yale's.. from april 21-22. so it will be a very fun week =)

getting there sunday and leaving on wed. are all admitted students invited to the diversity dinner? i got an invite by email when they told me about the fly-in program, but a friend who got in is coming with me so i was just wondering.

so we are allowed to stay on campus the night of the diversity dinner?
