I’ll admit that I am really scared, especially seeing all of your amazing chance threads. No matter what though, what will happen is, well, just that: it’s what will happen, and that will be it. Whether it’s at Yale, Harvard, or a community college, we clearly have all worked so tremendously hard. One decision isn’t going to determine our entire lives; I think it’s really important to realize that.

That being said though, best of luck to everyone. I’m so grateful for the amazing CC community that has been so helpful to me for the last year!

We should not see each other as competition! That leads nowhere really.
Besides, we might end up being peers at some school (Yale? some other?), who knows? :)

@alocik – No, as cool of an opportunity as that sounded to be, I wasn’t sure that I was ready to go to college outside of the U.S. And even if I did apply, I knew that I’d end up choosing a lot of the schools on my list over Yale-NUS, so it seemed kind of pointless.

I sent mine onto Yale-NUS! I figured why not, since it wasn’t any extra work or money. I don’t know if I’d actually attend if admitted though… My parents probably wouldn’t like the idea of 4 years halfway across the world. :)

Awesome. Sandy-affected applicant here so I didn’t even get the chance to finish it lol. Yale gave me the assurance though that one of my letters of rec could be a few days late (my teacher never got the chance to finish and my town still doesn’t have power…)

AAA totally didn’t realise it was 14th December, not 15th December ***… what’s this about 5pm EST?? I’m a UK student so none of this makes sense anyhoo…

It was changed, this year we get it one day before.
I got screwed really cause that day I have to work all day long and I won’t have a computer until late at night so the suspense will KILL ME!
