Lawrence U has an EA program with a Dec. 1 deadline and a Jan. 15 notification date. I have specifically inquired of Yale admissions if application to this program is compatible with their SCEA requirements. I have an email reply indicating that it is. I can’t see why the U of Rochester program, with the same published notification date, would be different.

Got one of my teacher recs submitted today, the other is on its way… all that I have left is the common app essay and two of the short takes. Eek.

Question: I noticed on the Yale SCEA FAQ site, it says I can apply to other public institutions before my decision. Does this mean I cannot send in applications to the other Ivy schools’ Regular Decision admissions?

Also am I the only one freaking out that some of their less-than-great scores are going to Yale since there is no Score Choice? I’m really scared about that…

So do we have to tell Yale about ALL our scores or ALL the scores from one “set” (ACT/SAT)? I took both the ACT and SAT one time each… Do I have to send Yale all my ACT and all my SAT scores? Or can I just send ACT, like a lot of other places?

Jordan- as long as the notification is after January 1, you can apply wherever you want.

Postmarked I think.
I am sending materials from oversees so for example I can never know when they will arrive, that’s why they talk about a postmark date.
As long as you send your commonapp before November 1, you are OK

So, for example, if I send they transcripts from the local junior college I’ve taken a few classes from tomorrow, and they get in the mail before Nov. 1, it should be okay?

How is that the Collegeboard lets you choose which scores to send when Yale requires them all?
Obviously I’m sending them all, but I’m just curious.
