<p>I’m on spring break, but I have a major “thesis” paper for my independent study that is due on Monday… I’ve had more than two weeks to work on it and I’ve hardly come up with anything original… :/</p>

<p>I’m on Spring Break right now, and actually on a big trip touring schools on the east coast. I’ll be touring Dartmouth tomorrow and then in New Haven at night (I’ve already had an official tour of Yale). It’ll be a crazy day!</p>

<p>@TrinidadJames22 I wish I could have applied to NUS, but my parents wanted me to stay in Northeastern United States, so that took NUS off the table

<p>@TrinidadJames22 Oh and to respond to your question, they haven’t told us any times, but they said “evening,” and ED decisions were released at 5pm, so people are speculating that they will be released around then.</p>

<p>What’s the “waitlisted at Chicago party”? Are there a bunch of Yale hopefuls here who didn’t get into Chicago? My D got into Chicago EA, but prefers Yale. Fingers crossed.</p>

<p>Last year Yale released result around 5pm. My kid wasn’t at home then, he filed to Rome for spring break! Me and my husband didn’t expect too much before clicking the link. Before that we checked UPenn and Cornell and didn’t get the results we’d hoped for. Days ago got wait-listed by UChicago, even UVa which was considered a match-to-safety. Finally clicked the link to Yale website, an animation bursted out with a big bulldog + congrats! That feeling was probably comparable to winning lottery, simply in disbelieve. Now the kid has been enjoying life at residential college at Yale, great school with a supportive community. I recalled my child got a very late interview in March, which seemed a good sign to me then.
