@astaff95 here’s your girl from Australia! haha I actually just woke up because decisions come at 8am my time. I think I did pretty well sleeping til 6:30 actually haha

@SummerAus What’s the weather like down there? We just traded cold and snowy for cold and muddy. I’m thinking it wasn’t a fair trade.

@Torvor well of course our seasons are opposite to yours (Summer goes December-January) so its just starting to cool down. It rained a lot yesterday, but the weather isn’t too bad yet, not summery anymore though
22 degrees today

@Torvor that’s in celcius btw, you guys are Fahrenheit aren’t you?

@Torvor 71.6 Fahrenheit

@SummerAus 22 degrees sounds like heaven compared to the -40 we hit a month ago xP

Hey guys, just wanted to say a final good luck before decisions come out!!

@SummerAus lol, yes, we do use Fahrenheit, but through chemistry and cooking I’m familiar with both
And turns out the -40 is in both Celsius and Fahrenheit :P

Hope you all don’t mind a parental unit hanging out here this afternoon. I like it here better than over at H. I’m at my office and supposed to be working. (I’m a lawyer.). But I’m too nervous. My DD could never get into the CC scene, so I’m her surrogate. Anyway, I can’t believe it’s been 3.5 months since I was hanging out like a nervous wreck on the UChicago EA thread while waiting for results. I cried when she called to say she got in. Since then, the decision process has been pretty stress free because the only schools she even cared about any more were H and Y. So when the acceptances to Brandeis, W&M, UCLA etc. came in it was ho hum. She got deferred EA from GTown and that’s still out there, but she doesn’t even care at this point. She fully expects rejection from H & Y and will be thrilled going to Chicago. She just wants it all to be over. It will be in another hour or so. Good luck everyone!

I thought Georgetown had restrictive early action so you couldn’t apply anywhere else .how did she apply to Chicago and Georgetown?

Good luck everyone!

I’m on spring break in mexicoooo so it’s nice and warm here (and snowing still back home) one more hour guys!! It’s almost over! :)

Ok,t hat’s it. I’m giving up on the last 25 problems. I can barely hold a pen.

From someone who was accepted Early Action to Yale, good luck to all of you! The mere fact that you have applied to Yale and are in contention for acceptance probably means that you have worked very hard in school and life, which in turn implies that you will be successful in whatever you do. The vast majority of you will not get in, that is just the hard reality of math. However, to those of you who do make it in, Boola Boola! I look forward to seeing you in New Haven next year. To those of you who don’t make the cut, keep working hard and you will find success, that’s how the world works. :)

At this moment, Yale is one of 4 Ivies to have not yet released its statistics.

Guys I never registered to get an eli account number. What do I do? It says my email is not linked to an account! !

Thursday evening means what ? 5 pm ET ?

From an SCEAer, GOOD LUCK!!!

5pm est, or 37 min from now

Nope. GTown is non-binding EA. Just like Chicago.
