Yup that too, but for me laziness is probably my biggest obstacle right now, and money is sort of the excuse i hide behind sometimes.

Canāt agree moreā¦laziness is definitely setting in

Iāve submitted 5 other apps - none of which are Common App - and been accepted at 3 of them already (safeties with rolling admissions). I submitted my UC app last week and now Iām working on getting my Rice app in by the 15th (just two days before decisions come out!) as well as another program Iām applying to. After that, I still have 7 more supplements to complete. I have 4 completely done that Iām waiting to submit. If I get into Yale, thereās absolutely no way Iāll go anywhere else.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5iG1WkOS4M

hehehe hopefully we see this on dec 17th :)

agh. Why would you post thatā¦ It ruins the novelty of the surprise, no? :)

hahaā¦also this is the site we have to go on to check our decision

Application Management;

Oh we donāt check through our eli accounts?

i mean it seems like thatās the admissions decision website soā¦?

But its not like they can just put a list of all the people that got in on that page right? So weāll still probably need to log into our eli accounts. I think? Tbh iām kinda confused now.

If anyoneās interested, hereās the 2018 yale SCEA pledge page http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/yale-university/1580720-official-yale-class-2018-scea-pledge-thread.html

guys youāll probably have to log into the decisions website with your eli acct info

Of those who are 100% committed to Yale, have you actually visited the school/campus already? My D has only visited FSU, UTampa and UMiami so far.

We are leaving Dec 26th for a college visit road trip that will take in Duke, Penn, Princeton, Columbia, Brown, Dartmouth and Yale.

This is another reason that she applied to a # of schools already. She is reserving her final judgment until she visits at least those 7 schools in-person. And I doubt that we will even actually ever make it to Northwestern, UChicago, USC or Stanfordā¦ unless she somehow gets into one or more of those and none of the others on our road trip.

Two quick questions:
- I had an on-campus interview in June, but I also had an alumni interview about two weeks ago. Has anyone else had two interviews, or is it more likely that they lost my on-campus one?
- Is it bad if I have not submitted the financial aid forms? Due to a lack of communication, my parents and I didnāt submit them at the same time as my CA, and Iām wondering if this hinders my chances of acceptance.

Just fifteen daysā¦ thisāll be stressful.

I would just submit the 2014-2015 CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE, listing all the schools you have or plan to apply to, asap online.

Is the UC or UCs some of you are referring to the Univ of California or something else?

This year, 440 QuestBridge Finalists matched with the 35 various college partners. Another thread (QuestBridge National College Match 2013-2014) lists this infoā¦

It is very cool to see the excited CC members who got matched :)

21 matched with yale through qb

sailing, not having submitted the Profile yet will not affect your admission decision, but it will delay your FA package if you are accepted.

In a thread on the Admissions forum, T26E4 posted that a QB applicant that he interviewed was matched w/ Y today.

x-posted w/awesomenerd

@sailing Yale website says financial aid has no deadline. Obviously, most people turn it in by March so they can receive the financial aid package before May. Yale admissions officer stated during the info session that financial aid office and admissions office work separately, so I doubt it would affect your decision.

The fact that the decision has (most likely) already been made for us is scaryā¦

14 Days :)

Yale has already named 24 members of the Class of 2018 (via QuestBridge Match 12/2)ā¦ and in just 14 days, Yale will likely add 650-750 moreā¦

Good Luck

@sailing - my son is in the same boat as you - campus interviewed in the first week of July, and alumni interviewed 2 weeks ago
