<p>Yes, it annoys me too. Because my school is really competitive and everyone applies to the same places, there’s a mutual understanding that such an action is not polite, so they don’t do it. However, my friends back at home do it for every freaking school; it’s so distasteful IMHO.</p>
<p>I’m anxiously awaiting Monday with everyone else. However, just sitting here passing time I got a call with another good school and had an impromptu phone interview. It was a good reminder that no matter what happens Monday, everything will be okay.</p>
<p>Eh the posting everything thing doesn’t really annoy me. However… there was a girl last year that just had to say “Was accepted to Upenn (through a special program that only admits 20 people a year) !!” Annoying af.</p>

<p>Well, so far, my daughter hasn’t heard of ANY classmate who was accepted ea or ed to a selective school, so it’s a bit depressing. Makes me wonder about the guidance dept here.</p>

<p>They probably have all the decisions made so now its more a race against the clock how quickly they can put them into the system (I assume). There probably is a fair chance they might open it sooner</p>

<p>besides, my mom was the one who first discovered the 16th (as opposed to the 17th) change. she’s pretty clutch here.</p>
<p>There is an email circulating in the Yale community that says Monday 16th is the day. Not saying it’s necessarily accurate but just another source of info…</p>
