<p>I wish to get an interview. Just to make sure, if you don’t get an interview, it doesn’t mean that you’re out right? Does getting interviews depend solely on the time you submit and therefore the time Yale gets your application?</p>
<p>My son did not get an interview, but was admitted.</p>
<p>Getting an interview depends on the availability of alumni willing to do interviews in your area. My D was admitted without an interview.</p>

<p>hey everyone. I submitted yesterday but totally forgot about sending SAT scores till just now. I just went on collegeboard to send them; it says my order is pending. do you think Yale will receive my scores on time?</p>
<p>When you guys open your admissions decisions on the website this winter, do you think you’ll turn your computer volume on to maybe hear the Bulldog song, or will you mute it so you know your decision based on what you read, not heard?</p>
<p>Haha good question…I know some other schools like Penn also have songs to accompany the admissions decision. Honestly, I’ll probably mute my speakers! </p>

<p>Does anyone know if they begin reviewing your file before all of your required testing is submitted? I have everything except one Subject test that I will be taking this week.</p>
<p>I was planning on sending in an extra letter of recommendation because I felt like it would add to my application.
However, my recommender was confused and didn’t realize that the envelope I gave him was for the app that was due Nov 1st (Yale), and was unable to print off a letterhead and send it on or by Nov 1st.
So, will Yale still accept the letter and consider it if he sends it, say, Nov 3rd??
I’m curious if I should tell him to go ahead and send it or just to not bother with it. </p>
