@kuriosmind thanks for the welcome! I’ve been in the orchestra pit and singing all weekend in my church Christmas program, so thankfully I’m tired and can fall asleep by a means other than crying lol but not without checking the thread first

Guys, you all have such amazing stats I’m starting to feel mine are mediocre at best. Yale is so lucky to have such a great applicant pool this year. I wish you all the best on Tuesday and hope to see you next fall! The pressure is building up… Two more days!
never received interview invitation, and we live in mainland China, so I guess that’s a sign for direct rejections. I heard a boy talked three hours with a Yale alumnus in Beijing. Hope he could get in.

@isaacmann I wouldn’t bet on that. Example - my friend applied to Stanford and got deferred with no interview or SAT IIs.
Its surprising that Yale hasn’t locked the status portal yet

@aposnova , to lock in decisions. So they would put in all decisions of students and lock the portal until decision time. Otherwise, we would be able to see our decisions.

Interesting @Xboxgamergirl They’re probably waiting until Tuesday to actually do that. I’ve heard that they debate on admissions up until the weekend before results. Hopefully my app is at least being debated. It’s crazy how much doubt I’ve been having. That’s natural though
Why worry about something you have no power over at this point?
