Well, there are two reasons for this.

The form was known as family grid on or before 17th jan. They updated their website recently, and changed the form and the description. Don’t ask me how I know (I am a magician).

They can’t just spill it that the form is for admitted first years only, because you know what’s the point of ivy day then?

The word prospective works as an shield because of “auto download”. There are many people who got their form auto downloaded on 02/22 but not all of them are going to get accepted.

I see! Well I submitted my form late on 27th feb, and came in my portal on 2nd March.
so not all autodownloads will be accepted? do you know which ones will be?
Unfortunately, I can’t. There was a way in the past but it’s futile now.

Hmm I see! So the email is a good sign! 
Not to mention if you applied CMU and have been asked to submit a verification of household form then you are 100% admitted.
For me I would say auto download is a bad sign.
Yes i think so too. But I don’t get if people didn’t receive an email from IDOC how did they know they have the form in their IDOC?
btw, do you have an SID?
Colleges can access your IDOC documents easily. They would ask if you don’t have it.
