Yale college grad/Harvard grad student here for advice/tips

Just checked, on his other thread he’s a Yale undergrad offering “avice”.

I’m predicting both his threads and all his posts will be deleted by noon Thursday.

wow this site is ridiculous. you think just because one goes to a good school they have perfect grammer, and spelling?

No. But I do think “one” would know that “they” should be aware of subject-verb agreement. And that this person ought to be able to spell “grammar” correctly.

Ridiculous, indeed.

charles: you must have one of the most in-auspicious starts on CC I’ve ever seen. It probably didn’t help that you introduced yourself as someone so utterly bored that you’d deign yourself to helping HS students on CC.

LOL

If you REALLY want to help, just trawl around for topic headings where you feel your advice/opinion/experiences can be of assistance – and then chime in. No need to create an all encompassing thread “here am I, come seek my wisdom” sort of thing. Indeed, I’m sure you have lots of useful information that could be of great assistance to the students here.
