<p>I'm just about to submit my app to Yale, but I wanted to get a second opinion! </p>
<p>The first thing is I didn't have any extra room to list my summer activities--I went to Israel on a leadership program with my local Jewish federation, and later went to an FTE Economics for leaders program at Cornell. My guidance counselor said that he mentioned these in his school recommendation, I received an honor from FTE, and my common app essay is about a situation that happened in Israel, but other than that, I do not mention either on my app. Should I make an effort to include them somewhere? I'm out of spaces for activities, and I thought that it might bog my app down a little if I add to the additional information section.</p>
<p>The other thing is that I began my own small online business in 8th grade selling vinyl records. I mentioned it (it is the third activity on my list), but I didn't go into great detail. It says:</p>
<p>"In 8th grade, I began a small online business selling Beatles albums with a friend and have developed it over the years, even creating my own website." </p>
<p>Should I list the name of the business/website URL, go into more detail?</p>
