Yale EA Chances

Good Afternoon everyone. I recently visited yale and was quite impressed with what I saw. I am considering applying there early action and would like to gain feedback as to my chances of being accepted. Please be completely honest, I am just looking for some constructive criticism. Thank you.

Junior, NJ, white male, competitive public school

SAT: 2260 (780m,720v,760w)
GPA: 95.6 (no 4.0 scale conversion or class rank, school however publishes top 10% cutoff)

SAT II: pending

AP: U.S. History, Eng. and Comp., Micro Econ (self-taught), Macro Econ (self-taught); next year: 4 additional AP classes scheduled

Extracurriculars: Debate Captain, NHS, French NHS, Boys State, Varsity Indoor Track, Varsity Outdoor Track, Business Club President, Peer Leadership, to name a few.

Again, I thank you for taking the time to examine my profile. Any and all response is very appreciated.

anyone????

95.9 out of 100? that is like an A average, but not all A's?

im guessing it is a 3.85 out of 4.0, mostly A's, with a few B's?

You're going to have a hard time because you're from Jersey. They get SO many applicants from there. And they can only take so many.

I was deferred/rejected. And a girl in my school (double legacy), was also deferred/rejected.

Thank you for your comments, yea my grades are predominantly A's with a few scattered B's in advanced courses.

ok, so it is around a 3.8 or something, is that a weighted GPA?

unweighted, not sure of weighted

"95.9 out of 100? that is like an A average, but not all A's?"

a 95.9 requires all 90's i believe or like a a 100 to balance something like an 88 but yeah 95.9 is 99 percvent most liely all A's even a p3 average cna be like all A's

but yeah mrgules if i was ana dcom and i asked you .. why do you want to go to yale? and what makes you special out of the thousands that apply to yale? what would you say........

and ur white so its not like it gives them diversity and on top of all that u live in NJ

collegebond- this thread is from may of last year. i'm pretty sure he's figured out his chances and decided about applying by now.

oops i didnt read the date. my bad.
