yale ea/ivy chances? panic strikes...

I know this is ridiculously late, and everybody must be panicking now, but i'd be much obliged if somebody would give me some feedback on my chances for yale early action, or if that doesn't work, at any ivy or highly ranked LAC (swarthmore, etc.) regular decision.
so? you must realize i'm posting this so i can feel encouraged, but at this point, i don't REALLY need encouragement, the app is already in. i just want to have some idea of what to expect. any feedback would certainly be much appreciated.

I knew i'd forget something...AP scores. Here they are:

AP Bio: 5
AP Chem: 5
AP Calculus AB: 5
AP US History: 4

Taking this year: AP English, AP Physics, AP, Statistics, AP Economics, AP Spanish

Would that help at all?

it's all in the essays and recommendations.

really, that's what all of us have to look at. our resumes all look pretty similar; the only things are that we are different people and depending on what the admissions officer wants/thinks Yale wants, some of us will get in, some wont.

Don't stress it. You only have 10 more days anyway. Expect a rejection (though that's not what I'm definitely saying you'll get) and you won't ever be disapointed. Or be like me and don't expect anything at all. Don't think about it.

Go play in the snow! I would, if I didn't have a Gatsby paper to write.

thanks ames - that actually does put my mind at ease. snow sounds like a great idea now!

and naturally, i realized i forgot yet another thing - national merit semifinalist (230 on PSATs). not that it matters, really. but since this list seems to be relatively complete otherwise, there's not much point in excluding anything else.

Good luck, plakhs. I hope you get in...

Maybe we'll meet.

No need to stress. Outcome is unpredictable. Just make sure you have options.

everyone has similar stats.

its up to essays/recs/interviews.

"everyone has similar stats."

what???

Plakhs, maybe this is a little late. But i think you are really good. Believe in yourself. Be proud of yourself in whatever great things you have achieved. Hope to hear your good news in a week:)

*** ur my clone!!! LOL except my sat's are not that high.
