Yes! Everything on my end has processed.

I am wondering… I am going to take the practice one and make a final decision.
Questions seems to be randomly assigned according to traditional Yale transfer applicants and Yale website.
I don’t think I am going to because it is optional and will not affect negatively my application.
It seems possible that it could affect your application negatively if you’re taking it… you won’t know the questions beforehand and won’t have time to prepare your answers.
There is still the interview with an officer admission officer if selected…

Hello,

What do you mean by processed? On my portal is shows received with green marks. Nowhere it says processed…

I also have a red mark (awaiting) for current (midterm) transcript, that appeared end of February (it was not requested before). I have contacted the admissions office via email and they said it can be submitted when available and that everything was fine, which is a bit confusing because it will be avaible late May.

I submitted my application early in January.

Anyone noticed the change on final decision date… It used to be early May up to mid May, recently it changed to mid May up to late May.

To me, it seems that they might have received a higher volume of applicants (or more than expected at least) this year… What do you think?

On my portal nothing changed, it still says : TBD for decision release date.

Any veterans for 2022 Eli Whitney?

I just got the invite for the interview I’m not sure if I’ll do it yet. Is there a list anywhere of the kind of questions they ask?

Basically thats what i meant processed/receive. Sorry for confusion

Last year little over 200 people applied to Eli Whitney Program at Yale.

No, they seem to be randomly assigned. You can gather more information looking at forums talking about Yale transfer applicants and on Yale website for transfer applicants.
These applicants received standout interviews too, on Yale website you have some questions that could be asked.
You can also take the practice standout interview.
It might give you a good idea and help you prepare.

Probably a little more this year based on the descion date change extended by 2 weeks… don’t you think?

Did you applied last year?

I did not applied last year. I did talked to few people that did and were accepted. I dont think date change has anything to do with how many applicants applied

I just received an email from Yale that decisions will be made by May 20th. Last year, decisions were posted on May 18th so no change was extended by 2 weeks.

Wondering if anyone knows the answers to these questions:

  1. Do many applicants get into the program without an AO interview? I keep seeing mixed responses all over the internet. I do not know if I should be concerned should I not be offered one in mid-April.
  2. How many applicants are usually accepted per year? I hear around 200 apply yearly but the amount accepted fluctuates.
  3. I have heard about a bunch of remarkable Eli Whitney Students, some of whom are former Olympians, successful businessmen and women, etc. I am pretty basic (I have interesting ECs I suppose), so are these impressive profiles the norm?
  4. What percentage of those who receive an interview are usually accepted?
  5. What is the youngest and oldest age of an accepted Eli Whitney Student you have all heard of?
