How is Yale's Engineering program? From what I've seen, it's not a separate college, just a well-off major within the undergrad college? Also, if I were to apply, would they care about my music accolades and awards that aren't engineering-related? Because I know a lot of the hardcore engineering schools have the mindset if you have a B in math one year then you're just automatically discounted, I'm looking for schools where they care about more than just math in the admissions process. I have gotten B's every year in math, but I'm all honors and AP and great stats and EC's, so would Yale Engineering still consider me fairly with the true mathletes?

I'm fairly sure you can just apply as undecided and you can enter the engineering major when you have to declare a major.

You don't apply to the engineering program, you apply to Yale College. Admissions is holistic and Bs in math won't automtically sink you. They will care about music and other extracurriculars.
