<p>Dependent on Yale's overall reputation?.....Is Yale's Engineering comparable to the likes of Cornell, Stanford, Berkely, etc.?</p>

<p>yale's undergraduate engineering program is ranked 47th by u.s. news. cornell's, stanford's, and berkeley's are ranked 10th, 2nd, and 3rd, respectively. i'll leave it to you to decide whether the programs are "comparable."</p>

<p>ISI says there's not only an engineering program, but it's the best one in the country - ranked just above Stanford, Cornell, Caltech and UCSB. Squishy and Byerly have you been lost in the woods the past 10 years?</p>

<p>yale engineering is ranked #44 by u.s. news (actually up three spots this year) and boasts just five faculty members in the national academy of engineering (cf. cornell - 21, princeton - 20, and harvard - 15).</p>
