7-0 and ranked #14 in the FCS Coaches Poll (I-AA)!

Can they run the table?

well, the date that matters is Nov 17! :)

Nobody cares. The only game that matters to Yalies is the last one of the season.

Are you saying Yale students don't care what the outcome of The Game is? Surely you jest....
I'm going to assume you are doing a semster abroad or something, as the only way to account for your comment :)

posterX, it isn't quite true to say no one cares. If you'd been sitting in your room watching the Yale-Penn game on TV two weeks ago, and hearing the loud cheers at a couple of critical junctures coming from other parts of the building, you would know that some of us are actually kind of excited about Yale's season. Obviously beating Harvard is far more important than any other game (ie, we'd rather go 1-9 with a win over Harvard than 9-1 with a loss to them) but that doesn't mean that winning all our other games isn't true.

is it possible to walk on the football team

Walk on? Yes. There are lots who were not specifically recruited.

haha i never played football in my life though. im just dreaming xD

Haha: when I was there, they had Men's tackle FB intramurals. For liability reasons, I think they did away with it. I played touch FB instead

posterX - shame on you! The Penn-Yale game was awesome and there were a lot of fans considering it was played at Penn. A couple of seasons like this and the fans will learn how to do some real tailgating. Hey, and how about a shout out for the band - they kept the fans in the game through the three overtimes!

They will run the table!

lol, they want to make a good impression on me so i can come play for them next year ;)

D tells me that the student body is actually getting interested in the football team this year, beyond the natural interest in The Game.

Sheed30 - The team or the band????

the team

but that was actually a pretty good one ;) didn't see that coming at all.

Well, if it doesn't work out on the team, you can grab a hollowed out gourd and join the band!

better start working out so i can make the team xD

One of the high points to attending a Yale Home football game is to watch the haftime show with the Yale Precision Marching Band, which includes two violins and a cello painted royal blue.

8-0! This could become the best Yale season in a very long time.

im 120 lbs 5 ft 8. what feasible position could i play. no high school experience.

lol, what could i play?
