I plan on making my work and passion for the Crisis in Darfur the main point of my essays/personal statements and how I have realized that I want to spend my life doing humanitarian work. I will also be writing about how I first got involved in it.. which is a long story that traces back to my first ever trip to Sudan... way before the disaster even began.

I hope I am not aiming to high, I know others have higher stats than me but I really do think I will be a great member to the class of 2011 because I really am passionate about what I do and I love getting others involved in it (i.e. the rally, reaching out to international high schools). I will make sure to show that in my interview and personal statement. I also realize that its not all about the stats.... its about personality and dedication, two things I know I have.

Thank you in advance!

bump, anyone there?

Nice EC's, scores are kind of low. The French 670 might raise questions since you're already taking college French courses.

But with the background and ECs, you stand as good a chance as anyone.

this isn't advice but just wondering but is that picture on teens4peace.net in the left corner you?

One of my best friends is Sudanese and has been trying to get some good stuff organized around here in Boston, working on logistics for some teen-action things, I believe. Do you have an email or something I could give to him, I think he could learn from your experience. I mean, I'll ask him first, but, if I shouldn't bother, hit me up with a PM to that effect.
