Has anyone received their Yale ID yet?

Nope, but I think someone in the big thread emailed them and asked. They said it should be coming out around mid week. So most likely tomorrow or Friday.

Okay. And can we fax the school transcripts from home or should they be faxed from the school?

I’m going to assume it doesn’t matter as long as all the papers are in order. I’m dropping by the local Kinkos to send my MIT one tomorrow and I’m HOPING Yale sends the ID by then.

You can fax your materials from home, kinkos or school, doesn’t matter.

Are we also allowed to mail the financial papers? If we mail, is the postmark deadline November 1st?

I’m mailing my transcript, but I don’t think it’s going to reach Yale by November 1st.

November 1st postmark is sufficient according to something I read on QB. Don’t ask me to find it though :P

Seconding Hakushaku’s comment. It’s definitely sufficient.

does it have to like certified mail or do you think just regular mails will do?

i just got my id :]

Same 10char

Great! My ID came too.

@newaccountt I think the e-mail must have already answered your question, but regular mail is fine!

I still have not received my ID… should I just fax without (and maybe with SSN?)

physicsnut1, yeah you should. in the yale email they said if you already faxed your documents before you got your ID and didn’t know to write your name on all and everything, it’s fine. so I’m assuming if you don’t get your ID, the same applies. Just write your name and QB on ALL pages.
