<p>i called the admissions office today and was told that alum interviewers have until the end of the month to conduct and write up evaluations for interviews... so there is still some time...</p>

<p>Yup, I am. I sent in my application really late so that might be why they haven't contacted me yet (I heard the alumni interviewers get a list of students in the order they applied, although I'm not certain at all about this).</p>
<p>I heard before that the deadline was Feb 15th. Glad I still have time...although I don't know if they'll get to me.</p>
<p>Supposedly the ASCs are pretty busy and if they don't contact you, they might simply have not had the time (other applicants to interview on top of their busy lives). Not getting an interview is not supposed to harm your chances, so you shouldn't worry too much. I heard it's mainly for you to learn more about the school and for the interviewer to learn more about you. </p>

<p>I'm sorry, I wasn't clear with my language. I HEARD the deadline was Feb. 15th. But since the admissions officer jerseygirl contacted said the deadline was Feb.28th, I'm glad there's more time for interviews than I thought. =)</p>
<p>Sorry, I meant to say in my previous post "are you sure that it's NOT Feb.15?" Because when I called my area director yesterday (as instructed by him), he sounded pretty anxious.</p>
<p>Here's what I think is going on. Admissions is telling interviewers that 2/15 is the deadline so they'll get their interviews done and their reports submitted promptly. In reality, names are still trickling in to ASC directors and 2/28 is the true deadline. The other possibility is that the admissions officer jerseygirl talked to is confused; this is the first year interview reports are due on 2/15 instead of 3/1. Reports have been due on 3/1 for years and admissions officers may not know what interviewers are being told.</p>
