I just got contacted today by the alumni committee saying that there should be this alumni who would be emailing me this week about setting up an interview. Does anyone have any advice on what to do and what not do? They also sent me this questionnaire and one of the questions was "what is your least favorite subject (if any)?" Should I put down an answer for that?

You might want to bring a copy of your resume or activities list and their questionnaire, and think about any questions you have beforehand. Why wouldn't you want to answer the question? Try to relax, be friendly and confident - interviews are really not that important to admissions. Use it as an opportunity to learn more about the school.

Go to the ASC part of the Yale website where they give instructions to the interviewers...then you'll be prepared, understanding what they are trying to root out in the interview. The link s somewhere/several places on this forum, I don't have it handy...look under search for ASC or interviews something.

thanx for the advice. i had my interview last saturday...i think it went pretty well. yup i prepped with that site and my interviewer maybe took 1 or 2 questions from the list

hmm, isn't it a bit too late to be having interviews? I thought the deadline was March 1st or something :-

i guess not. i had it last saturday at noon
