Yale is my #1 choice WHy?????

lol, people interpret too much

I think that Coldstone and Ben and Jerry's are good
I'm also partial to Haagen Daaz(though there arent many in Cali)

no secret message , just my love of ice cream

Ahhh Coldstone is amazing! I want ice cream now
What's your favorite Coldstone combination? I like Coffee Lover's Only and Cheesecake Fantasy

coldstone is not my fav...ironically, i don't find it cold

lol but it's ice cream! I guess I get what you mean...it's more creamy than ice cold. But the fun of mixing in stuff! And the people there sing!
What IS your fav, Enco?

i like a local mom & pop icecream store that isn't a nationwide chain...yummmmyyy

I've only had coldstone once though, and that was in Seattle, Washington...the dreariness of WA might have infused itself into the ice cream

i ice-cream cone ice cream though

lol, yes enco, you invented the <3 ice cream cone didn't you? Ahh good times
You should try Coldstone again, you might like it more.
Sadly there really aren't any mom and pop stores around here; they all get squished out by the big chain stores.

I never knew before that Coldstone was a nationwide thing! I thought there was only that one 20 minutes drive from my house.

Coldstone is a California invention, but there's one in Norwalk, Ct also. Where's the one 20 min. from you?

By the way, liberals do not have a lock on "intelligence". Many conservatives, especially those steeped in Economics, think the contrary.

I don't know if this was mentioned already, but there's a Coldstone in New Haven, right near campus.

I dont recall seeing one but there are lots of other options available like 29 thai restaurants within a 3 block radius where you can pay using your student id card. now THAT is innovation

I graduated from Yale College over 30 years ago, and get back pretty regularly for reunions and the like. What I notice is that all of you students are simply wonderful today. What has changed is New Haven. It was ungodly back then, and now it's quite pleasant. How nice to see such posts extolling the virtues of what was once a rather grim little city. I thoroughly agree, and hope that all goes smashingly for each and every one of you this year.

There's also an Au Bon Pain. I love that place; when I visited and saw it I was like: "score!"

I love au bon pain it seems to be the starbuckization of subway... btw, I think brown has one next to campus as well
