Hello there, I was looking for any information or advice about applying to YALE as direct descendant to the original founders of Yale. Both my great grandfathers founded Yale. Pierpont and John Edwards. Are there any special perks or helps to getting in to Yale with that heritage? We visited Edwards hall and the portrait on the wall was like looking at my Uncle

Also, the famous theologian Jonathan Edwards (for whom Jonathan Edwards College is named) and Pierpont Edwards were not the founders of Yale. Jonathan Edwards attended Yale, and his son, Pierpont, graduated from Princeton.

Were your grandparents and parents also major donors?
