jtanman, did you get a call? one of my friends claims to have an elusive Yale likely (that she won’t show anyone lol) but says it was only through paper mail. any truth to the claim?

thanks :). ya yale is def one of my top choices, but i still wanna compare each school after april 1st.

well, i thought it was only paper at first, but i got a call like 3 days later or so. i wish they gave out sweatshirts tho… one of my classmates got into yale ea and has been wearing one since december…

I received mine the other day - utterly gobsmacked because I didn’t think that Yale sent international likelies (I guess I’m happy to be wrong!). I also got a call today!

Lol, I’m feeling very similar to you - I wished they send us Yale merchandise! (Banner? Sweatshirt?) It’s a little frustrating not having access to the official admits website etc.

Agree so much with this:

Yale is definitely close to my heart, but at the same time, I guess I want to be able to see and compare for myself come April and possibly with the admit weekends. ( I guess my indecision is exacerbated by the fact that I’ve never stepped foot in the States before!)

But anyway, congrats to anyone else with a letter (how absolutely surreal aye?!), and I guess we’ll see what happens come April/May!

Do you mean a sweatshirt or a T-shirt? Once one gets access to the admits website one can order a T-shirt for free. After all, Yale can’t possibly send any apparel without knowing you size, right? ;)

jtanman holy **** you make me look like an epic moron.congrats buddy. i also got a likely letter from yale for the class of 2014… and you literally got like 300 more points on the SAT than me lol

and @ theskylitup where are you from? cause im an international student too so i know that they at least do north american likelies (emphasis on the north)

I received a likely letter from both Yale and Harvard. I think my essays were the kicker and the fact that I’m an immigrant (kinda in between international student and domestic one). But I’m still a moron compared to those amazing stats, buddy. Congratz man! If you will attend either Harvard or Yale, I’d love to meet you!! :)
