Yale: Likes/Dislikes

$hit man, i fcukin made out with his entire foot for good luck...

Hahahaaaaa

Like:
1) the knowledge that almost everyone here has done something fantastic
2) the 16-people sections in which I know everybody's name
3) the 50-people lectures that I can skip and not feel bad about
4) the dining halls. If the food isn't fantastic, it's not horrible, and they're so beautiful
5) Old Campus. I get to meet people from other residential colleges but still make great connections with the people in my college.
6) the job opportunities. Minimum wage for students here is $10/hr, and there are some pretty interesting jobs out there.
7) being able to say "hi" to about forty people a day and not feel uncomfortable about doing it
8) the music library
9) the fact that not that many parties are exclusive, and the Greeks don't run college life

Many more, but I feel like that'll be redundant.

Dislike:

1) the people who feel like it's necessary to say something in section, even if it's something totally pointless/obvious
2) the fact that Silliman and TD people live in their residential college instead of Old Campus... it makes it difficult to see them often
3) the laundry rooms. Luckily, my residential college is right next to Old Campus, so I can take my laundry there if the Bingham Hall laundry room is full, but I know it's not the same for most people

Neutral about
1) the abundance of alcohol. If you want it, it's there. But sometimes it could put pressure on people to drink, because all parties involve alcohol to some extent
2) the inequality of housing. Some people get gorgeous suites overlooking Old Campus, while others are stuck in Lanman-Wright. Because I live in a newly renovated hall, I can't complain, but many others have the right to.
3) the constant pressure of work.

Dislikes:
How hard it is to get in
