I'm looking into Yale's grad graphic design program and was wondering if anyone on here had gone through the program, or had applied previously? I'd like to get some insight :)

I just got back from interviewing at Yale for their 3-year Graphic Design MFA. It is my first choice and my visit just reaffirmed my stance. The school of art is pretty small. Of course Yale is an Ivey, but their not at all snobbish. The student body seems somewhat culturally diverse, at least the art school. The program heads are very intelligent and also very out going, which is a great mix. The curriculum seems to have an interdisciplinary stance. From talking to professor and students, the schools main focus is to help the artists and designers find their own path, as opposed to choosing a path for them. Also all of the faculty are active in their fields. I’m not sure which program you’re applying for, but maybe if you can ask some more specific question I can try to answer them.
