hey me too! I was just wondering about this...common app says they both submitted....my 2nd teacher submitted on Nov 1 though, maybe they didn't download it in time to get it :(

should I call yale about it? I don't want to go through the trouble of asking my teacher to redo a paper version

On my eli page it says yale is missing a teacher rec.. who do I call to find out which teacher is missing? I'm positive both teachers sent it in..

My one says the same. I think it's the Yale application system having a mistake. Mine were all sent online, submitted and everything clean and clear, so it's thus logically a problem with the yale system that maybe it's just incorrectly showing it.

I have this problem too! I'm kind of surprised...and I'm not sure which teacher it is either...I'm going to talk to both of them on Monday to verify that they sent them. They assured me that they did earlier...maybe I'll just ask them both to send another copy.

Same issue here! I almost panicked this morning. Both my teachers sent theirs in electronically. One sent it Sept 19th and the other sent it Oct 31st. I hope everything gets sorted out very soon.

Mine also says that one's missing. I e-mailed both my teachers and asked them to each fax another copy of their rec to the school. I guess it doesn't hurt to be sure that they both get in...

Wait, mine now says this at the top under "Application Status": We have received the admissions documents needed to review your application to Yale. We will notify you if we need any additional information.
But it still says a rec is missing. Does anyone else's say this or not say this?

Interestingly enough, I had checked my status before, and I remember that it indicated both teachers' recommendations had been received. I recall making a point that day to thank my teachers for successfully submitting those...

I have this same problem as well, both my recs say it has not been received, but my teachers definitely did submit them through the common app. I had my counselor fax them in but i didn't see that we had to put our account ID and name. Is that bad???

Apparently there's an issue with the stuff submitted online... it can't be directly transferred to their system or something like that (my guidance counselor was relaying the information to me), but they were very nice, and a few minutes later my red X's were changed to green checkmarks. :)

^^^ i submitted mine in paper and the 2nd teacher rec is also not showing up. however, i m not sure if one of my recommenders even submitted their rec.
