Yale my dream school..what are my chances?

Hey there Im new to the board and id like to start off by saying that I have been in love with yale ever since I was 11. I am going to be a senior and i would like to know my chances for yale. In my freshmen and sophmore year i have to admit my avg was mediocre. I had a 92 and 91 ( how would that be in g.p.a?) but my junior year i had a 98 avg overall.

other than that I want to show yale that even though i may not be the valedictorian of my school, i have passion and hope and I know I will make many accomplishments and achievements at Yale University.

I would like to add that i will be applying early decision

World Hist and Bio scores are mediocre.

Is Italian spoken at home? What was the SAT breakdown?

I think you should apply. You probably already know that the chances are pretty slim for most applicants, but you have a chance. Put together interesting essays, and if you can get good recs/etc. you could have a compelling application. You have to prove that you're an interesting person who would contribute meaningfully to the college.

there is no early decision (ED)--only single choice early action (SCEA).

good luck.
