Thanks, Martinibluex. That's what I thought.

I noticed that you said earlier in this post that, based on decision posts from the past few years, Yale seems to send letters out the first week of May, usually on a monday. Does this mean we should expect decisions to be sent out on Monday, May 1? It's very possible that I misread your post, so, if I did, allow me to apologize ahead of time.

Regardless of whether or not Yale mails them on the 1st, though, the first week of May is quickly approaching!! haha it's crazy...

I think they send them in the end of the first week or the beginning of the second. In the past people have gotten decisions consitently on the 8th or the 9th of May.

Yale sent my rejection for transfer in late April in the form of a letter to my house. I didn't get any other information for them. However, I also tried to sleep with an admissions member and when I realized I wasn't attracted to this person, they kind of shut me out. Bwa ha ha ha.

lol Brian! so we shud be especting somethin g in the mail anytime from now? That's so scary! considering that yale admits like half a person! bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

No it's true - Yale is insane. Most people accepted to Columbia and Harvard as transfers aren't accepted to Yale . . it's a completely unpredictable process.

ha! I give up then! This whole waiting process is excrutiatingly painful- I'm even in a worse state given that I'm an intel- This definitely sucks! Brian d'u think it's too late to send in additional info?

Oh you know what it wasn't late-April, now that I think of it, it just felt early because it was before I got any other decision, and my first acceptance was May 6 . . so sometime in the first week of May. Good luck.

If you're int'l from Nigeria and have strong stats, I'd say you will be given a lot of attention from Yale and Harvard (can't remember where else you've applied.) Those two will definitely give you loads of financial aid, and you seem like the type of int'l student that they want to give a chance to, esp. if it shows you have done well despite not having many resources or opportunities. Good luck.

Thanks Brian! That definitly sounds very encouraging!!!
Will keep u guys posted as decisions come in- Gosh! I can't even concentrate in school!!! Don't wan go thru this ever again!
