Both of these are very new institutions in Singapore with very strong collaborations with some of the most established universities in the world - Yale-NUS with Yale and National University of Singapore and SUTD with MIT.

They have very unique curriculums within the Asian context. Yale-NUS has a liberal arts curriculum whereas SUTD has one that follows MIT's curriculum with an emphasis on design. They both apparently have a holistic admissions process (which is quite rare in both Singapore and most of Asia).

I'm into the sciences, especially physics, however, I think it's important to be in a collaborative environment where you learn about the world as well as your specialization. Both these universities seem great though I'm not sure which one to apply to.

Would anyone like to weigh in?
