Yale or Harvard?

I am fortunate to have to make this decision. Both Yale and Harvard are fine schools, and I know I cannot go wrong with either.

I am leaning towards Yale, but I want to fully weigh my options before mailing in my matriculation card. I'd like to know what you all think are the pros and cons of each school. If any of you have experiences as undergraduates at either school, or have friends who have, please tell me about it.

I plan to major in Biochemistry or Chemistry, so anything in particular about the sciences at Harvard or Yale would be particularly helpful. I may decide to double major in English or some humanities field, too.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Are you really going to base your decision on what people post to this board? why dont you 1)visit both campuses 2) talk to professors at both schools 3) make your own pro and con list 3) talk to your parents
4) talk to your high school academic advisor 4) think about your career goals 5) think about what city you would prefer to live in for the next four years : New Haven or Cambridge.

Those methods would be the best way to choose your schools whether you were deciding between Harvard or Yale or Surfer University and Harvard.

Good luck.

lol have you seen thsi website www.harvardsucks.org

Yale, the recently released news that shows Harvard undergrads are not so happy is not news to people in the know.

Hey ivyleaguer, I just want to get opinions and experiences from as broad a base as possible. Unfortunately, I can't visit both campuses because I am an international. I'll definately do 3, 3, 4, 4, and 5 on your list, though! :) Thanks for the advice.
