Husband’s entire family has gone to Yale, my entire family has gone to Michigan…S is into Michigan…waiting now on Yale…
Rejected after being deferred.
Rejected to 3… (here, Columbia, and Harvard). I would’ve absolutely chosen Yale if I got in. It hurts, but I knew my chances from the beginning, and now it’s about focusing on the schools that DO want me rather than the ones that don’t. Congrats x1000000 to everyone who was accepted.

Rejected, but didn’t expect to get in. I wish I could’ve given my parents the pride of having a daughter at an ivy league school, sigh. College admission season has destroyed my ego, maybe that’s a good thing. Congratulations to all that got in.
@Neurogirl07 Sorry to hear about the ivys…have you heard from u.w. madison yet? I saw on admission thread that you were curious about that great school (I went there albeit many moons ago)…best of luck in finding your ultimate best fit!

Rejected… I am so unbelievably devastated, I can’t even… I don’t know what I did wrong. I have a 35, a 3.97 UW, excellent recs, a nervous but good interview, and extenuating circumstances because of health issues… I just don’t know
@Tkat97 , I have no doubt your parents are very proud of you and they don’t need the opinion of Ivy League admissions staffs to validate that.
I am not one iota less proud of my daughter because she was rejected by Yale. I definitely don’t need Yale to tell me whether she’s amazing. It’s just a school, not some ultimate assessment of anyone’s worth!
