Does anyone know when will yale release their decision online?

thanks

April 1st....

It's most probably March 31st at 5:00 pm EST.

It is 3/31 at 5:00, but for EA, the decisions went online a full day before expected.

alright.. thx guys.

wait, Kane how do you know it's 3/31 at 5, like where did you find/hear that? Other schools (like harvard and dartmouth for ex) specify date and time of online notification on their respective sites, but i was unable to find that on Yale's site (go figure, the one i care most about)

Is it officially April 1 but probably coming a day early on March 31, or is it officially March 31 but probably coming a day early on March 30?

In the letter that Yale sends (w/the pin number and all that jazz) there is a note that the deicions will be up at 5 on March 31st. For us west coasters, 2 pm is the most important moment of our lives. 13 days left.....

varsity, do you mean the blue letter? because i have a blue letter issuing a pin and id, and it says that online notification date is April 1st for regular decision; granted, this was sent to me as an early action applicant so maybe they fine tuned the date since then.

varsity1ac, and everyone else anxiously awaiting decisions:

really, telling yourself that april 1 (or march 31, whatever) is "the most important day of your life" is, quite possibly, only going to make it hurt more if you don't get in. i applied ea and was deferred so i definitely understand the feeling, but the fact of the matter is that if you even applied to yale you're an amazing person/student and will go to an amazing school AND be happy there, even if it's not yale.

basically, try not to focus on it too much. it's a big day, i know, but it's hardly the most important of your life (what about your wedding? or the day your first child is born?...)

oh without a doubt, for me it's a matter of having something to look forward to which makes everything so much more exciting

I'm still telling anyone at school who asks that I get all the decisions on April 1. So if I get bad news, I have 1 or 2 days of cushion time, and if I get good news, I can surprise everyone and/or buy some college sweaters!

Amen, Kara.

I really dont care anymore....i've worried myself tired from this whole process.

Amen, beechbum; I'm numb and free of pain at this point.

is it confirmed that yale acceptance letters come in thick envelopes? i got an acceptance letter from UCLA, and it was in the tiniest of tiny envelopes...i nearly freaked :p

Doesn't matter because we check online, unless you want to wait for the mail, but why do that to yourself?

yeah, I could never wait an extra few days. It's already killing me as it is!

Hey! It's My 500th Post!!

this is a dumb question, but how do we check if we got in? Just sign in to our account from the yale site?
