Yale RD - Do I stand any kind of chance

I'm from London UK and I'm applying to unis in the states. Yale is my first choice and I realise its a longshot, but I figured it was worth a try. I just got into Cambridge in the UK but I would rather go to uni in the states.

Common App Essays: one on politics as an extra-curricular, the other on the challenge of directing a production of my peers, both were pretty good
Additional Yale essays: very passionate response to arts opportunities at Yale and the history department, especially Jonathan Spence a historian of China; other essay was on appreciation of diversity and other cultures living in London (this one was one of my best)
I think my answers to the questions were interesting and honest if not the most original things on the planet

Recommendations:
Counsellor: stellar, really positive
English teacher: outstandingly nice
History teacher: very good, but made more of a point that sometimes I have to work very hard to get the grades I do, so that might be a negative

Other places I've applied
Harvard
Princeton
Dartmouth
Duke
Wesleyan
Stanford
UChicago
Georgetown

I'd really appreciate feedback! :)

It will be tough for most of these. They have no shortage of UK applicants and would epect the same stats as the do for Americans. Your scores would not get unhooked Americans into an ivy. Your best chance is at GTown and Wes, maybe Chicago too.

^ Agree with 2college2college as well. Low SATs and lack of leadership probably won’t get you into the Ivys. Are you applying to financial aid? If not, you have a good shot at Georgetown, UChicago, Duke and Wesleyan. Otherwise, you should look at a few more safeties.

She already said she’s gotten into Cambridge… I don’t think she needs safeties.

No chance…

Your SAT and SAT subject test scores are a little low. Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Stanfod are all high reaches. Dartmouth, Duke, and UChicago are reaches. I agree with 2college that your best shot may be at Georgetown. I’m not familiar with your other universities.

Wow getting into Cambridge is impressive, even if you would rather not go there haha
