Yale Rec Question

<p>So I am going to probably apply to Yale SCEA and I was wondering how to go about getting the recs...</p>

<p>I remember people saying that you give the teacher a stamped envelope addressed to the college with its seal or something, but how exactly do you get that envelope for Yale?</p>

<p>And is a 10th grade teacher ok? She has a PHD in Law and teaches 10th grade English and we have been quite close...</p>

<p>A 10th grade teacher is fine but not preferrable, unless she knows you particularly well. And remember, it’s not her individual qualifications that will make her rec impressive; it’s how well she can comment on you as a student.</p>
