<p>There are many threads about students who were accepted, but not many for those rejected; my thought was that some of those students could give their insights and ideas about there admissions decisions, process, etc.</p>

<p>I don’t think that you’ll get many good anecdotal responses. Many people don’t have a good idea about why they were rejected, beyond the obvious. Moreover, they tend to be overly influenced by speculation about their own situation and may make unfounded generalizations.</p>

<p>Plus, rejected Yale applicants usually don’t come to this forum any longer.</p>
